The Albany Plan

Events:
1754: The British government creates the Dominion of America after being suggested by Benjamin Franklin. The autonomy granted to them was nowhere near what the autonomy that OTL Canada, Australia and other former British territory were given. This started the American resentment of Britain
After the French and Indian War the Dominion of America was given control of Louisiana along almost the exact same lines of the Adams-Onis Treaty, the lands taken from France in OTL, Florida and West Florida, only the Caribbean territories and Hudson Bay Company were left out of the Dominion.
1776: The Americans declare independence after a couple of Prime Ministers including William Pitt tried to limit their autonomy and heavy taxes, the Boston Massacre and other events similar to OTL. Signatories are the same except with inclusion of Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Edward Island, the Floridas and the newly created state of Louisiana.
1783: At the Second Treaty of Paris the US is recognized as having control over most of the North American British Territory with only Caribbean territories remaining British excluding the Bahamas which the US successfully captured.
1803: Napoleon sells all French Caribbean territory including their islands in the Lesser Antilles, the island of Hispaniola, Cuba and French Guiana.
1812: The War of 1812 starts, many battles are similar including the Battle of Baltimore, and the Burning of Washington. Plus some new ones in the Caribbean and the north.
December 24, 1814: The Treaty of Ghent is signed. All British American territory is handed to the Americans. The Battle of New Orleans occurs at the same time in OTL.
1836: The Texas Revolution starts. There's a much larger American population in Texas due to earlier borders with the region. many battles are still the same, same with the leaders. Texas lasts as long as it does in OTL. This Texas is less worried about Santa Anna and looked more to the US for protection. When Texas is admitted they sell less of their land than they do in OTL.
1846: The Mexican-American War takes place at the same time and same amount of land is taken from Mexico.
1854: Gadsden Purchase is made.
The U.S. avoids the Civil War due to Taxation Without Representation precautions made earlier in Americas existence, and with some far north slave states.
1867: U.S. purchases Alaska like in OTL.
1893: Hawaii is overthrown and annexed by the U.S. like in OTL.
The Spanish-American War never happens due to Cuba being a U.S. state ITTL.
Panama is supported by the U.S. during the Thousand Day War. Panama is made a U.S. protectorate.
1914: The U.S. joins WW1 alongside Brazil and the UPCA when Mexico, Gran Colombia and Spain side with Germany. 
1918: The Second Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo is signed. Northern Mexico and Yucatan is given to the U.S.. U.S. military presence was very limited in Panama and the Panamanians suffered great losses and U.S. sentiment grew immensely and was annexed by the U.S.
Post-WW2: The U.S. purchases remaining European lands in the Americas and Pacific. Micronesia is annexed by the U.S.
